Health and Safety Policies;
if you employ 5 or more people, the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 requires you to have a written Health and Safety Policy. We can provide to you a bespoke Health and Safety Policy which will ensure compliance with the law. We will liaise with you and ensure the Policy is set out in accordance with your company structure and work processes, this will provide the bedrock of your Safe Systems of Work.
Competent Advise;
Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety Regulations require employers to appoint one or more competent persons to assist them in undertaking the measures they need to take, in order to comply with the requirements imposed upon them by or under the relevant statutory provisions.
We can provide this competent advice and assist you in all matters relation to Health and Safety.
Risk Assessment;
Regulation 3 of the Management of Health and Safety Regulations, require risk assessments to be carried out.
We can provide you with either a full set of Generic assessments that you can base your specific assessments upon, or carry out specific Risk Assessments on your behalf, we are also happy to do both for you as required. Examples of our Generic Assessments i.e. Display Screen Assessments (DSE), Driving Risk Assessments and Reactive Risk Assessments can be provided upon request.Method Statements;
It is often the case that where a Risk Assessment is carried out, a Method Statement is then required to guide employees through the Safe System of Work, we can provide templates for these or produce them for you.
